I wish I would be easier on myself. Why do I not allow myself to make mistakes without feeling like if I had just done such and such, or this or that, I could have prevented blankety blank? GRR!
I'm am a high school English teacher, and a teacher is all I've ever wanted to be since I was in the 7th grade. I love working with teenagers. I'm married to an English teacher (my poor daughter) and I have a 9 year old girl who is my world.
I never need to see the sun again, there's enough light in your eyes to light all the world.

Simply Adorable
There is no one like my little girl
All Dressed Up
At the end of third grade we had a girly girl day for Maddie and a few of her friends. They had their make up, hair, and nails done. It was a cute fest.
Stylin'
Maddie has her own sense of style and she likes to express it. I love her creativity.
Endless Adventure
This tree sits at the edge of my brother's farm in New York. I love this tree because it gently reminds me of my youth and encourages me to never lose my sense of wonder and thirst for adventure.
Silly Kitty
This is Huck, short for Huckleberry. He is such a fun kitty. Huck is a good name for him because he prefers to run free, but he's willing to accept a few tight squeezes and forced hugs once in a while. I love him. He suits me well.
Little Man
This little guy is the baby of the family. His name is Manly, after a poet named Gerard Manley Hopkins. He's attached himself to me—though he is supposed to be Maddie's puppy.
